Day 91 - 12/19/2004

Home

Back at the shop

Cold cold day!

I installed half of the fuel rail. Garrett sent the rails with two different holes drilled for the injectors. I am to test the rails and let him know which was the best fit. Problem was that it was below 30 degrees F. The rubber orings were like rocks. So I have to test them under warmer conditions.

Started work on the drivers side seat bracket. Damn nice to use a real MIG welder!

I also discovered via an email from a visitor that my rear e-brake issue can be fixed by using 1985 Cadillac Seville rear brakes. And I found a local wrecking yard that has them for $30 each!

And the perfect height for me.

2

I have yet to drill the holes for the seat. But I sat in it to see how the angle was and to see how much leg room I had. It was perfect. Though I had my snow suit on and the fit was real tight... yes, I know, it will be tight even without the suit.
