No pictures! Please!!

Sorry. Forgot the camera again. But I did load the truck up with crap to take to the shop. Remember my new shop is 40+ miles away from my home.

So today I got the roll cage installed. It is now welded together, and bolted to the floor. I welded in a drivers side door bar. It dips down towards the footwell to aid in driver entry and exit. I need to order some more DOM steel tube so I can do the passenger side as well. I still need to figure out how I am going to connect the cage to the rear strut towers. I want to keep the rear window glass. So I need to go through the firewall.

I also started work on the front spoiler. I made some cuts on the fender so that the Vauxhall spoiler would line up. Funny thing. I break out the sawz-all and start cutting the fender and my brother-in-law yells at me to get the air tools with the cut off wheel. Doh!! I get the cut off wheel and slice through that fender like warm butter! Damn that was easy! I was thinking I was working in the "field" again instead of the shop!

As you know I started making my own bushings. Well this did not work out as I just did not have enough urethane to complete the job. So Jody at Kbox (www.kbox.ca) is going to make me a set. So I sent him a sample.

I have also sourced some Northstar short blocks. I'll be picking up some on Friday.

I also removed the AW11 cooling pipes from the center tunnel. I have found a source of 1.75" OD aluminum tube. I test fit some 1.75" OD pipe to see if it would fit between the tank and the tunnel wall. It fit almost perfect. Just need some bending of sheet metal in a place or two :)
