Tonight was spent welding up the 3" pipe for the main feed to the muffler. I keep getting asked why I am doing it this way. I am doing it because I think it will look pretty cool. Will it make it faster? I don't think so, but it will look cool... and that is what really counts :)

I am still waiting for the 2.50" pipe. Yes there will be supports for the muffler and the pipes. I'll extend the rear frame back into the trunk and that will have the rubber mounts that will act as isolators for the mounts.

Tight fit. But man that pipe is something else! Compared to the 1 7/8" pipe that MR2s usually use!

Here is an overhead shot. As you can see the pipe on the right. There will also be one on the left. These will then turn into 2 90 degree bends that will exit out of the two holes I drilled.

Man those pipes look awesome. Just wish I could make prettier welds. I really do suck at welding.
