1

1

The Cadillac arrives with 1 1/2 wheels. Luckily the tree behind the caddy stopped it as it rolled off the roleback.

2

2

Here is the wrecked side. Well actually all of the sides are wrecked. It was owned by some crack head pimp. I found some pictures of some hot ass naked chicks in the door. Guy was a party animal. Now I think he is in jail from the mail that was in the front seat.

3

So here is the money shot. 4.6 Liter. 32 Valves. 4 Cams. Oh ya baby!

4

4

Closer view

5

5

Inside the pimp mobile.

6

6

Here we go... Removed the air box.

7

7

Plastic surrounds removed from the front end. Removed chassis reinforcements.

8

Removing the A/C components. Luckily they were already drained somewhere.

9

Close up of the huge intake hose.

10

Another view of the intake side. I'll use these photos for reference when I put the engine in the MR2.

11

Wow. Lots of circuits. Looks like all I need to do is apply 12 volts and a ground or two. But I doubt I will be that lucky.

12

Cruise control. This will not stay. Everything will be stripped off if it is not used. Like the power steering, the A/C, and cruise.

13

Coolant hose detail and fans. Nice fans.

14

I carefully removed the passenger side air bag. I was trained by General Motors when I was a fireman back in the early 90s. This came in handy when I removed the air bag.

15

All this crap had to be removed to get to the harness and the ECU. The computer was burried up up under the dash.

16

Cool stuff. From the left - Fuse box cover with all the little pictures, transmission cooler, 3 horns. Real horns! Not those cheasy jap horns! Honest to goodness American Horns. Loud! Radiator pressure tank. and the heart of the car, the ECU.

17

Cool exhaust system. I like how the exhaust does not protrude under the oil tanks. I'll be able to get this baby LOW in the chassis. The whole drive train sits in a subframe. There are 6 bolts that need removed and the whole assembly drops right out.

18

Front right suspension

19

Transaxle oil filter

20

More of the suspension

21

Torque mounts

22

Some sort of sensor. I suspect it is an air temp sender

23

Drivers side suspension

24

One of the sub-frame mounts

25

All those pipes are from the anti-lock brakes. I wont be using these either.

26

Here is a close up of them. I just used a sawz-all to cut them out.

27

Wow. I removed the front right wheel. This pimp daddy really hammered on these brakes! I have never ever seen this before. The rear disk is cut in half. Another first.

28

Here is what that baby should look like

29

Radiators removed.

30

BIG alternator.

31

Trans and water pump.

32

Fram. Gotta love them. I do!

33

Close up of the wiring to the alternator

34

The engine is not that large

35

Water pump. Driven off the cams

36

Top pulley is for the power steering. this will be removed along with the A/C compressor. A shorter belt will be found at NAPA.

37

Fuse boxes

38

Look at the size of that throttlebody! It needs cleaned.

39

Water pump area

40

The coils. No distributer.

41

The other side of the coils.

42

Reference image of the belt

43

Belts

44

35 inches wide. I will have 1/8 inch on either side between the strut towers on the AW11. This is going to be fun!

45

Here is the AW11 Chassis. A 1987 Hardtop, manual windows, automatic.

46

Engine bay already stripped.

47

Fuel tank removed. I am going to use a foam filled fuel cell in the front trunk.

48

No much room for the axles. But they will fit!

49

This is the location I use for the drivers seat. That firewall will be cut out and moved forward about 7 inches. New steel will be welded in.

50

I borrowed the dash for the purple car. I have some more gauge units somewhere.

51

Look. An automatic.

52

Kinda smashed up. But it is only on the surface. I have spares that will be used to replaced.these battered panels.

53

I need the upper windshield retaining strip.

54

Other than the bent fender and bumper the car is reallt straight.

55

Gotta love those trees and how they work really well as brakes.

56

Oh, look. I sat this Ford small block here about 4 years ago. And there it still sits. It looks like someone removed some parts though. That is pretty funny.

57

Damn straight!

58

I need to find some good trim pieces.

59

Another shot of the engine bay before I get in and start cutting the crap out of the place.
