Started off the day by grinding the strut tabs down on the hubs.

Didn't have to remove that much metal.

Some serious misadjustment on the frame. This car had been hit in the left rear fender sometime in it's past.

The holes do not line up. So I had to do some more cutting. Cut the bar I installed between the towers and removed most of the rest of the trunk firewall sheetmetal.

So Super Ian used his super powers to spread the towers out to their proper location.

These are the size bolts I am going to use to mount the sub-frame to the chassis rail. Going to get some new grade 8 bolts from the bolt store in Charlottesville.

Right rear assembled. I assumed this was a 91 rotor. It is now. It is a 93 rear. Now I need to find a 93 rear caliper.

Put the brake assembly together.

Removed the fuel tank. It had 4 year old 106 octane race fuel in it. I dumped it in a can and used it to start my trash fire tonight.

I wont be able to work on the car for a few more weeks. So I decided to put the chassis on the ground.

I moved the hub back about 3/4" to see how far back I can go.

Looks like a VW bug. the real one.

Lots of room for tire and wheel.

That tire has a bit of negative camber.
