Radiator Install.

1

1

So my radiator fitment did not go the way I planned. Everything fit, except the lower hose connection was blocked by the suspension mount. So I mounted it further back into the frunk. It actually fits quite nice there. Making ducting will be much easier

2

2

This is the perfect height to clear the hood and the ground.

1

3

It actually looks good there in real life.

2

4

Sweeeet!Plenty of room for ducting to the hood. Just no way to have a trunk now. Still room for a battery as well.

1

5

I took some radiator hose from an old Chevy pickup we have sitting around the shop for parts, and cut it up and to mock up the aluminum pipes. I also put an old used radiator cap on to keep crap out of the rad. I also put cardboard over the ad to protect it.

2

6

This is pretty rough, I'll clen up the hose routes with new NAPA hose later.

1

7

I started the lower radiator mounts. I need bigger rivnuts. So I just tie wrapped them in place to test.

2

8

These were the chassis connectors on the Cadillac

2

10

Sitting in place. I need to make some rubber bottom isolators for it to sit on.

1

11

Low enough... but not too low.

2

12

I'll use another hood. The purple part is where I will cut out to vent the radiator.

1

13

I started on the rear strut tops. I cut out the hole and moved the strut 1.5" further out to get the strut in a better alignment.

2

14

The rear hub is finally back in-line.

1

15

Rough cut. I'll clean this up later with a file.

2

16

That pulled the strut away from the tower

1

17

Just another shot.

2

18

You can see, or at least I can the better line the strut takes.

1

19

I was going to cut this out... but dinner was calling... Roast Beef and potatos. I don't get that too often.
